Is it necessary to use a specialized company to install SecuriSPOT?
No, it is not required. SecuriSPOT comes with an installation guide that allows a non-specialized technician to carry out the setup in compliance with safety standards.
The main steps include:
Mounting the unit on a support (pole, wall, etc.) at a height of about 4 meters,
Connecting it to the power supply,
Positioning SecuriSPOT toward the area to be monitored.
Then, simply configure SecuriSPOT using the accompanying software by logging in with the personal credentials provided with the equipment.
Does SecuriSPOT need an Internet connection to operate?
No, to trigger alarms and store incident statistics locally, SecuriSPOT does not need to be in a 4G-covered area.
If SecuriSPOT is located within a 4G coverage zone, the incident statistics are automatically uploaded to a secure cloud-based dashboard, accessible online through a secure connection.
Otherwise, SecuriSPOT stores the statistical data locally, and this information can be synced and viewed online later once the device is back within a 4G-covered area.
